d. If none of the discrepant parts identified in paragraph 8 above are installed, inspection is complete
and red horizontal dash //--// may be cleared.
Correction Procedures.
a. If hub part number 114R2050--36, serial number UW3018 is installed, upgrade aircraft status to red
"X" and contact technical point of contact in paragraph 16a for further instructions.
b. If any of the cross shaft adapter assemblies identified in paragraph 8 are installed, perform the fol-
lowing --
(1) Assign a new finite life of 3048 hours on the DA Form 2408--16, block 6J and recalculate re-
placement due time. If part exceeds this life, replace part.
(2) Annotate DA Form 2408-5-1 for this part stating "Finite Life (MOAT) has been reduced in ac-
cordance with SOF CH-47-01-01, TB 1-1520-240-20-134".
(3) Once the above correction procedures for adapter assemblies are completed, the red hori-
zontal dash // -- // will be cleared and compliance with this SOF will be noted.
10. Supply/Parts and Disposition.
a.
Parts Required. Items cited in paragraphs 7 and 8 may be required to replace defective items.
b. Requisitioning Instructions. Requisition replacement parts using normal supply procedures. All req-
uisitions shall use project code (CC 57-59) "X0I" (XRAY-ZERO-INDIA).
NOTE
Project code "X0I" (X-RAY-ZERO-INDIA) is required to track and estab-
lish a data base of stock fund expenditures incurred by the field as a re-
sult of SOF actions.
c.
Bulk and Consumable Materials. N/A.
d.
Disposition. Demilitarize/mutilate any part/component which does not meet inspection criteria.
e.
Disposition of Hazardous Material. N/A.
